The Wonderful World of Sphynx

About a year ago, I happened upon a link that made mention of a hairless cat. Being from Montana, cold weather and all, I never imagined this could be true. So I clicked on the link.
Low and behold, there before me was a photo of a cat with no fur... I had never seen this before, accept in the movie with Austen Powers in it and I thought that was trickery... So I continued to read the page . It told of a hairless cat known as the Spnynx cat breed . I knew at that time I had to have a part in this beautiful breed of cat.
I have found a life time friend in the Sphynx cat. They are curious, loving, and seem to want to be around people all the time. They follow you wherever you go. Looking for your attention more often then not... Our original intentions was to be a sphinx breeder,BUT Then made my move towards an Sphinx cat, unannounced to me I was a elf cat I was looking at...Someone sent me a photo of an elf cat! Oh... MY...goodness... There was a new necked in town! I being from Montana did not know that there were Cats without hair . let alone with curled ears at the perfect angle! Hence the elf cat!
Now we have found another sphynx trait we want to work with ,The Short gene. Taking the sphynx and the munchkin and developing the bambino trait. . The short legged sphynx.... We are just in the beginning stages of the breed.
We have been in the cat fancy for many years working with various breeds of cats. We are both very excited to be a part of the foundation breeders working with this Wondrous new traits of the sphynx cats.
We have joined others that are working with these new traits to advance the vanities traits "of the sphynx cat" to Championship levels hopefully in TICA and CFA.
A breed standard has been set and with that a strict code of ethics and we are working together for the betterment of these new traits.
Come with me and I will show you what I discovered about the breed ... This is my next step. I want you share in it too..

A lot of research and 5 cats later, here I am.. I have a great mentor, good common sense. That has brought me far in life.. Life has tought me a much that applies to this next step in becoming the best breeder in the west like my mentor...
